This weeks Diva Challenge was to use ONLY straight lines for your tile. This was lots of fun but very different for me because I usually put a lot of organic tangles, curves and orbs in my tiles. I used Osprey, Weave, Rain and another one I had labeled Knase but I’m not sure that’s the real name of it! 😜 Hope everyone is having an awesome week. Looking forward to some less humid weather toward the end of this week! 🤗 Enjoy and as always, thanks for stopping!
Diva Challenge ~ #285 “Relax bro.”
Hello there, 🤗 well this weeks Diva Challenge was a “God Sent’ for me! 😉 I haven’t tangled in two weeks…getting ready for company and then having my husbands elderly parents down for a week. We had a wonderful time..busy, busy, busy however, no taking time out for oneself so when this challenge arrived from the Diva, instructing to ‘consciously make a space for oneself and tangle like no one was watching’, it was just what I needed! I put my favorite American Native flute music on, found a quiet space and tangled away and loved every minute of it. It’s been awhile since I’ve just tangled whatever came to mind. My tile is a circle of Viaduct with tipple and Zen Buds, which I’ve drawn before, but never put onto a tile, for some reason. Zen Buds seemed very appropriate for this challenge I think! 😊 Hope you all are having a great week and thanks for stopping!
Diva Challenge ~ #282 ‘Spill It!’
Hi Everyone, 🤗 Sorry guys, for some reason my link to this page was not working on the Diva site so re-entered again….This weeks Challenge from the Diva was to spill something on a tile and tangle over it. For the first one I used a splash of wine…Busca Cabernet Sauvignon, to be exact! 😉 It’s a little bit light but worked pretty good. I also stained a couple of tiles with some raspberry juice and they turned out really pink. My second one is using that stain. I noticed some of the folks were showing a before picture and good idea…wish I had thought to do that. I used Abeko, Zinger and Flux as my tangles and added a little violet Prismacolor pencil to shadow on the first tile.
2nd tile with raspberry stain using Star-crossed, A-Dalpha, Ginili and a version of Ingwi. Have a great weekend and as always, I appreciate your visits! 🤗
Diva Challenge ~ #281 “Tangle Study-ING”
Hi there, this weeks Diva challenge is Molly’s tangle, ING. Like the Diva, I learned this tangle at my CZT #22 seminar from Molly and haven’t really used it since then. Don’t know why, I did like it very much. It’s very versatile and you can use so many reticula with it. The one I did for the Diva challenge is ING with another fun one called Starcrossed. I’m posting a second tile, which I did at seminar and its ING with a little tipple. See you next week, and have a great one! 🤗
2nd one…………… From CZT Seminar #22………
Diva Challenge ~ #280 “Rio Olympics”
Hi All! 🤗 This weeks challenge is to draw something reminiscent of the summer olympics in Rio. I was a bit brain and time challenged when I put this tile together earlier on and thought I might have time for a redo however, it’s looking doubtful as the week progresses so putting this one in my post. 😀 Hope you all are having a great week. We’ve had a bit of a reprieve on the heat this week in Houston and instead are getting massive amounts of rain. My heart goes out to those living in the flooded areas of Louisiana….it’s really a terrible sight!
Diva Challenge #279 ~ Duotangle Auraknot & Meer
Hi all, this weeks Diva challenge is a Duotangle using Auraknot (which I really like) and Meer (which I like…hmmm, not so much 😜). Not sure why Meer is not one of my favorites but I kind of like how it turned out in the middle of my Auraknot! Love the Diva challenges that get me out of my comfort zone! 😀 Hope you all are having a wonderful week! Still hot in Houston so I am finding as much to do inside as possible! ☀️😎
Diva Challenge ~ #278 “UMT” Knightstar by Daniel Lamothe
Hi All, well after several tries at Kinightstar, I ended up with this tile for the challenge. I’d like to work with this one a bit more, when I have a few minutes, and try it with different tangle patterns. It wasn’t a very relaxing pattern to draw…at least for me. Anxious to see how everyone else handles this one. 😉 Cheers and have a great weekend! 🤗
Diva Challenge #277 ‘Running ’round in Circles’
Hi everyone this weeks Diva Challenge was to create a string of circles and tangle away, and tangle I did. 😀 I used a coaster tile that a friend of mine gave me that had been precolored…very faintly with pastels. It’s a bit hard to see the pale colors in the background with this post but I enjoyed the relaxing challenge. I used Shing, Rosettes, Bales, Nekton, Shattuck, SandSwirl, Knights Bridge, a variation of Batumber and Kitl to fill the circles. Thanks for stopping and have a wonderful week! 🤗
Diva challenges #274 – ‘My Country Tis of Thee’ and #275 – ‘Give Peace A Chance’
well…..I seemed to have lost a couple of weeks posting and actually didn’t get these entered in the Diva’s Challenge but I did create a couple of tiles so thought I would go ahead and post them here, late. It seems to be a busy summer at our house and I haven’t had nearly as much time to tangle as I would like. 😀 Hope you are all enjoying your summer and staying cool….Texas has been HOT, HOT, HOT! 😅 Definitely pool weather!

Diva Challenge #272 “What’s Black and White and Red All Over?”
Hi all… 😊 This weeks challenge from the Diva was to use a regular white tile and the traditional black micron pen and add a touch of red. The second challenge was to not take yourself so seriously and to have fun with it. So, here tis and I did have fun…black and white with a little red. Phicops, Stackem, Tipple and Peacock feathers (I’m not sure what they really are called) surrounding Ibex. Thanks for stopping and have a great week! 🤗
